Its alive!
Hi! This is my blog! :)
If you don't know me, I'm Laura (aka Lula). Aside from working, eating and sleeping, making jewelry has been my top priority for the last few months, so I am very excited to have built up a good inventory and officially get SuperLula off the ground!
I've vended at a few events recently, including an art opening at Visual Expression Tattoo in East Hartford, and the second annual SnowBall, hosted by Hartford's Creative Conscience Art Collaborative. The events have been really great and my work has been well received.
Getting my etsy shop filled up is taking some time, but I am slowly but surely adding pieces to it. I plan on updating this blog as I continue to add items to the shop, so anyone who is interested can stay informed.
Here is a sample of what is currently available on www.superlula.etsy.com
Love Necklace- Tattoo Inspired
This handmade resin piece features a tattoo-inspired heart, with a banner reading "LOVE". It is perfect for tattoo enthusiasts, or those who appreciate them!
Cookie Jar Pendant
Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?
Lula stole the cookie from the cookie jar, and then embedded the entire cookie jar in some sparkly purple plastic!
Chunky Sparkly Magenta Pendant
This pendant is sooo chunky, sooo sparkly, and sooo pretty. Its also very magenta (with a black back)!
Ice Cream Sundae Pendant
This is a very unusual AND delicious pendant! You get 3 scoops of white and lavendar ice cream with a cherry on top, a lot of shiny gold glitter, a black back, and a silver-plated bail to hold it on to the chain. Sweet!
The Diner Bracelet
This is a piece based on one of my favorite places in the world: The 24 Hour Diner! There are so many things about American diners that are great, and I've captured the food aspect in this unique Diner Bracelet.
