My name is Laura, which is pronounced in many variations by the young children I work with ("Lula" being my favorite). I am a creative spirit and have had a lifelong love of making things, which led me to pursue my BFA at Massachussetts College of Art in the late 90's. I paint, sew, sculpt, glue, draw, collage, and most recently, I make very fun and awesome jewelry.
SuperLula was born in 2009, and is a one-woman operation built on a totally DIY approach. My appreciation for color and candy-inspired motifs are the basis for many of my designs, as well as my own personal sense of aesthetics. It is my goal to produce a diverse inventory of jewelry pieces that appeal to a wide variety of jewelry-wearers.
